Welcome to Van Rossen PhotoGraphics. This site contains information about the commercial photography services offered and photographic samples by me, Daniel Van Rossen, Photographer. Most know me as a jewelry photographer or gemstone photographer. Jewelry photography accounts for the bulk of the commercial work I currently do. I have specialized in this area for over 25 years. During that time I have developed over a dozen special lighting set-ups that make jewelry pieces (as I have been told by clients) look better then they actual are. This variety of set-ups not only gives creative options when photographing jewelry but also helps solve technical problems that arise with phenomenal gemstones and unusual (creative) jewelry designs. These special lighting set-ups also work great on other very small products for advertising or editorial.

My gemstone and jewelry photographs are created to get attention and communicate. Almost all of the pictures I create are for advertising (to sell) or editorial (to inform). I strive to offer the best quality images at reasonable prices. I am located in Portland, Oregon but I have clients all over the nation.
